Your last ever or just your last this year?Marcyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14148093449696230770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2753579490537909929.post-86369421623759069352007-10-09T13:43:00.000-07:002007-10-09T13:43:00.000-07:00I've never had a problem with using gels and sport...I've never had a problem with using gels and sports drink together, but I train with them on my long runs so I'm used to it. You never want to do anything or eat anything in a race that you haven't done or used in training. (I'm sure you have heard that before.) It looks like the weather should be great for the race. Good luck!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02378547566593756176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2753579490537909929.post-34496612006500871262007-10-09T06:47:00.000-07:002007-10-09T06:47:00.000-07:00Looks like lovely running weather. I couldn't do it with gatorade and gel though. I think you need the right combo and/or whatever works for you!!

Best wishes. Looking forward to the race report.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03231464198799653331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2753579490537909929.post-22188210797733245912007-10-09T05:35:00.000-07:002007-10-09T05:35:00.000-07:00Yea, I heard the same thing about sports drink and...Yea, I heard the same thing about sports drink and gels. I have an iron stomach though. So I haven't had any issues. Having something to eat on the race could be a good thing. Maybe something a little more solid like a bar or soy joy....Weshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11399853707178925175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2753579490537909929.post-50370982807497384112007-10-09T03:58:00.000-07:002007-10-09T03:58:00.000-07:00Looks like perfect running weather!
