My only concern is all those back to back long runs mixed in with speed work. It was jus too hard for me.

What I'm saying is don't be a afraid to make adjustments or switch plans! If finishing is your only goal, there are other plans you can use.

Good luck!!! I know it will be a great destination race!!!Weshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11399853707178925175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2753579490537909929.post-74401586032012343532008-01-21T02:47:00.000-08:002008-01-21T02:47:00.000-08:00I'm psyched for you, Mary! The son of a running partner of mine ran it in '07 as his final marathon in his pursuit of the 50 states.

So far the only one of the four that I've done that was remotely painful was the Honolulu and I"m still not sure what happened with it other than the rain we had to run in.

My knee was sore during Houston but no where near the pain that I felt in Honolulu.

Like you I'm psyched about all of the running, yes maybe a bit crazy too...but aren't we all that hit the streets on a regular basis.Randy - Maniac #788https://www.blogger.com/profile/17252189707697252110noreply@blogger.com
