I registered last week for the Tri for the Cure in August. Last year it was not a stellar experience, but I will try it again. I long to cross train. Now, mind you, I still have a marathon to train for.
I have not run now since Feb. 6 (due to injuries). I have now been able to run for maybe 3 or 4 days, but my schedule is horrible. I am wondering how I managed to be so disciplined last year. I think my wack-a-doo Nike + iPod really motivated me. I was in all kinds of competitive challenges - and those made me get out of bed on cold mornings and make time to run. I think I may purchase another Nike + (mine died). I will be sure to get it calibrated so that it is correct.
I have been doing core work with my balance ball. It is fun and it hurts. So, it must be good, right?
Oh please Spring come back to me. I need to hear birds singing. I need to feel sunshine on my skin. And I need to run outside.

You have time to return to the marathon training and do well with it. Sometimes in the beginning, it can be hard to re-discover your mojo.
Ohhh I hear you Mary!! I need me some Spring too!
and we need great pics :-) Cross training for a sprint tri sounds like a great idea!!!
Great! You are part of the reason I am doing tris now so I am happy you are rejoining me! You have the best fashion decisions! :>)
