Hiking on a Saturday Morning

This is my granddaughter - blazing the trail for her nana.

We had a great hike this morning - up Green Mountain. It is pretty. We climbed 300 + feet in 1/2 mile (Thank you new Garmin Training Center software for sharing this important information with me). It is pretty fun.

I still need to get out and run. Have not run since Thursday. Eeeeeek!

Going to take a nap now. YAY!

Thanks for stopping by, I'm glad you want to do 8 on the 8th. I'm still working on a tshirt angle. I think it would be totally cool and funny to get a tshirt from a virtual race. :D

Thanks for coming by, will look forward to seeing you more.

Great pic of the grandbaby. So cute. What an example you are setting.

I'd say hiking takes the place of running for the day.

In my book, hiking on a beautiful day with the granddaughter beats running any day.

You know what, as soon as I glanced at the pic, and before I'd even read your text, I was like "that's Green Mountain." And, aha, I was right! My dad used to take us on that hike all the time! You must live in the west Denver suburbs? My family lives in Lakewood.

I would take the hike with my Granddaughter over a run any day!
