Z-Pac
I went to the doc yesterday. He diagnosed bronchitis... which I pretty much had figured out as I lay in bed gasping for a breath. I got a course of azithromycin and I am feeling better already. I went back to work today - yay! Staying at home when you are sick is NO FUN. I was so ready to go back to work today.
So, I was perusing the internet today and remembered that there is a race on my birthday this year! It is called Rudolph's Revenge - December 15 - my 56th birthday. I will see how the training goes when I get back on my feet to see if I am going to go for a 5 K or a 10 K. That logo is so dang cute, I bet the shirt is cute. And how can you resist running a race on your 56th birthday? Oh, yeah, most of you are not even old enough to be my children... well, some day you will be old and gray and you will be looking forward to running races in your sunset years!
Until then... have a great day.

Glad you got the meds.
56 is not old at all!! Besides, age is all in how you act and feel!
Ahem...I'm only two years behind you!!! And, yes, it is waaaaay fun to put up miles on each birthday!!!
Hope the Z-pac kicks in soon!
You simply must do that race. I think it has cutest logo ever, it's on your birthday, and you'll be just getting over your bout with bronchitis!!
BTW - I had bronchitis then a sinus infection earlier this year and it was no fun. I sincerely hope you get well soon.
And hey - I could only be your child if you were an *extremely* young mother. I think I qualify for being old and grey too (but I'm working on the latter part, thanks to some creative coloring by my stylist...LOL).
The race looks cool. I don't have alot of oppurtunities near me to run many races unless I drive 60 miles or so.
LOL Mary!!! 56 is NOT old. My great grandfather is old. He's almost pushing 100 hehe.
I'm sorry you're sick but I'm glad you're feeling better :-)
Yay! My birtday falls on a Saturday, the weekend before my marathon. I' gonna do a Turkey Trot instead! Glad you are feeling better!
You got thirty plus more years of running, Mary! Take your time :-)
You see, it wasn't that long ago you were thinking that you never wanted to run again. Now, you find you are really missing it and have entered a race. I suppose that's something to thank the illness for?!
Glad you're on the road to recovery :-)
PS. 50 is the new 40!
I beg your pardon...I could be that "younger" man in your life..well if I weren't already married...being 52...I'm not that far behind you...
Get well!!!! Do the race!!!! Have fun!!!
Don't forget....GET WELL!!!!!
I was just reading something about Rudolph's Revenge: Is that the run through Washington Park in Denver? Sounds like fun!
