I have been sadly remiss in posting. But then again, I have been sadly remiss in working out!!! I ran on Wednesday morning. I decided to drive to a nearby park and run around a lake several times - and skip the hills near my house since I am not needing to train on hills right now. I got to the park, it was lovely, but it started pouring rain and I opted to leave after a mile. Had I been training for my half-marathon, I would have hung in there and run anyway. But it seems that having that big goal out of my way, I am suffering from a lack of motivation.
Gas prices at $3.25 per gallon will motivate me to get on my bike and ride to work a couple times a week. I will find a way to get some runs and a swim or two in as well.
I can't wait to hear about Randy's race in Vail, CO. Good luck Randy!

you aren't the only one with motivation issues (points to self). but hang in there! it will get beter, i'm sure of it!!
can you ride to work? I'm doing that 2x per week and it is great to save $$ on gas plus force a bike workout.
Yes where have those 20+ miles per week gone, I'm missing them too. Some I can blame on the weather, but it's mostly me opting out of getting on the street....sigh....
Mary, I just noticed your new photo...it looks great.
I'm at our hotel room watching and listening to it rain and sleet..it's about 1:30 and it looks like the mud run will be for real now. Should prove to be interesting. Without the rain, it looked like we would have just one bog hole right before the end of each of the three laps we will be required to do.
I hear you on the gas bit!! Shoot I'll be running everywhere at this rate LOL
