Good Bike Ride

This morning... Good Bike Ride. 10.56 miles. Which took 1:04:01. Sounds like a slow ride, but it is downhill the first 5 or so miles, and uphill the second half. The last 2 miles are a killer hill which takes at least 20 minutes to climb.

Tomorrow I intend to do the run on Green Mountain that I talked about in my last post. I decided to wait and give it a full seven days without running. My pain has not abated at all.

Yesterday I finally broke down and made an appointment with my doctor - I can get in to see him on Tuesday of next week. Hopefully I will get some help with this pain. We shall see.

I miss riding hills...doing flat rides all the time is like a time trial everyday and it can be frustrating and boring. That sounds like a great ride and fighting hills is really rewarding.

I barely want to admit this to myself, but rest has helped heal almost all of my aches and pains, maybe all of them actually. Hopefully you'll feel better tomorrow and the doctor will just tell you to sit on a pillow!

Great job on your bike ride!! An hour of biking is great! I am so glad you made an appointment. I hope it is easy to heal!

Doesn't it suck sometimes to be all grown up and do the responsible thing, like skip a race or make a doctor's appointment? Time heals everything, but sometimes medical intervention helps.

LMAO, I have no idea what is slow and fast in the bike world. It all looks good to me! ;D I'm glad you're going to see the Dr!
