That's what I'm talking about!

Took a hike up Green Mountain today. What a gloriously wonderful day!

There are many wildflowers in bloom. The yuccas are also in bloom. There were flowers everywhere (and bugs!)

I tried some trail running, I really enjoyed it. There is a limit to how fast you can run on a little trail that is covered with rocks, so I didn't have the perception that I was s-l-o-w even though I was. It felt perfectly appropriate!

This is the view of my city from Green Moutain. Even on Sunday, there is the haze from all of us people driving cars everywhere.

I am so glad I decided to do this today. It is amazing what a nice switch-up in my normal activity does. It was also nice to actually use my garmin to navigate. I got hopelessly turned around at one point, and was able to find my way back to the main trail using my little garmin. Some day soon I am going to read the directions for that thing and really figure out how to use it!
Now I will get to work putting together the sweater I just knit... I don't think it is going to fit. Debbi, any advice?

Ohhhhhh it looks BEAUTIFUL!!! Great, great pics!!!

LOL!! You're totally 50 steps ahead of me! I don't think I even know how to use the navigation on my Garmin, and would probably get myself even MORE lost if I tried.

Those pix really are beautiful, and sounds like you had a great day.

About that sweater: E-mail me with the details and I'll try to help you out. What kind of sweater, what kind of yarn, where do you think it's not going to fit?

Ahh man... I luv beautiful pics like that. You are so lucky to have a great trail to run on like that. Sorry to hear your butt is giving you problems. Maybe that trip to the doctor isn't out of the question? Aren't Garmins wonderful? I sure do love mine, although I do wish I had gotten the HRM version.

Looks like an absolutely beautiful place to run. I hope you really had fun, and trail running will certainly improve your running and strength.
