Another Brick in the Wall

I had a great workout this morning! I rode 12 miles and then ran 3.69 miles. It took too long, but I felt good. I could have kept running, honestly, I could have. Slowly, but comfortably.

I wish this picture would have turned out better. It is a little bridge on the bike trail over Bear Creek. There were wild flowers everywhere. It was (and actually still is) a beautiful morning.

The guy is coming to look at my sprinkler system in a minute. He just called with the refrain I have heard all my life "Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow?" And then he quickly added, "not very good, without a working sprinkler system!" cute.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Nice view...I need to find some running trails like that around Denver when I'm in town, instead of trying to run downtown. When I lived in Boulder I remember a similar trail along Boulder Creek through town, but that is a bit far from downtown to run....last night I thought I was going to get wet for sure with all the storms in the area. I was out near the airport but got 3 miles in without getting wet, except for sweat...

Nice brick!! Sounds like you are ready for race weekend!

I love the picture! I want to sit a chair by the creek and read HP a while.

Great job with the brick. Your repair man is quite the comic...he should get his own show or something.

The tri is coming up quick. Do you fell ready? Looks like you are from the workouts.

I think that picture came out great - I like the shadow on the bridge. Actually all your pictures are great because they have scenery! Great workout - seems like you are totally ready for the tri...

Agreed - lovely pics! So pretty and peaceful. You're doing well on your training, I am very envious. There is no way I could do a Tri!

Good job on the brick. I'm learning all kinds of new terms reading other folks blogs. I sure wish I had some trails to run. Its either the road or the treadmill for me! Unless I decide to run laps around cotton fields.
