I have to say: I really like training for a triathlon. I wake up in the morning and think "What am I going to do for my training today?" Yesterday I got ready for a bike ride/swim/bike ride... but ditched that idea when I saw it was only 50-something degrees outside. So I did a bike/run brick instead. (that is a picture from last year's Tri for the Cure.)
Today is my rest day and I am really glad. I went to see the new Harry Potter movie with my daughters and my son's friend last night and was up WAY past my bedtime! It was fun though.

I love you attitude in the previous post. Better to be happy and healthy than to make yourself miserable trying to fit someone else's standard of "perfect."
50-degrees!! Damn. It was 90-degrees at 4:30am for my run.
Hey, we went to see Harry Potter as well! Did you like it? I thought it was great but big chunks of the book missing.
I like triathlon training as well, it's nice to have the variety!
I can't believe the temperature dropped so quickly out west. Like Chad, I could use some cool temps...I like the picture too.
You're SOOO cute!! I love it! I can't believe it was so cold!! Dang!!
I would kill for a run in the 50's right now.
Nice pic :-) I prefer to do my training "by the book". I don't know. Maybe I like the orderliness of it all. Maybe I just like being controlled. Ask Dee Dee :-) Bike/run bricks are so important in our training. Way to get'er done!!
I love training mode; my next 16-week session starts Monday. The discipline is terrific, I cross off each day when I complete what I'm supposed to do and there's no "will I or won't I" about exercising.
The coolest thing about this session is that Mondays are rest days! Heh.
I like the variety offered by triathlon training as well.
But I still have a schedule laid out to make sure I train in a balanced way (although I give my self options on certain days - hey - if it isn't fun, what's the point?!?).
